It is designed for small bass, bay, and multi-species boats. The I-4 V Max Sho Series Yamaha outboard ranges in horsepower: 175HP, 150HP, 115HP, and 90HP. would like someone to try to lead me to check something they may know about on my issue. The In-Line Four V MAX SHO® 175 and 150 feature a Cowling Drain System and Air Intake Labyrinth System to trap and drain water that enters their cowlings during normal operation. there was 12 volts to ground.so i used a jumper when the motor started to stall i grounded the fuel pump and the motor picked rite up and ideled fine.so for some reason the ecu is not sensing the motor running so its droping the ground.thank you for your respond and sorry again for the threads im new and will learn how to use this sight. checked when motor was running there was no 12 volts at fuel pump. with the key on it buzzzes for 3-5 sec the motor will start runs for 15-30 seconds then acts like it runs out of gas. i have read many post on here and yes many have been very useful and has gotten me this far.sometimes it will run but not for a long time i read a post that rodbolt said if the ecu does not sense the pulsers it will drop out the ground to the fuel pump. im new to this and sorry for the same thread i was not sure if they stay on day to day. Then again I guess it’s possible to chop 100 hp from fooling with cams, but hard to see it not effecting emissions to much for them to do it. With the variable cam motors you can gain some performance ( may not be as much hp numbers but can change curve significantly) from the fact you can play with more than just spark and fuel, but again it all effects emissions, so I doubt that’s all yamadog is fooling with from factory. That being said, you can gain hp by tuning one just by going around the restrictions the factory has to use to meet all these requirements. They have to keep each model as clean as possible. They can’t play with the tune that much without negatively effecting emissions. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the difference between the 200 to 300 hp models is more than the tuning from the factory. Either way, if they really are that stupid, they deserve to not be bailed out again.Ĭhaz= so grateful, to be a teen when it was normal to have a "big boat" like a 16' or 17' Action with a 2.4L and tow it with a SS 396, 4-speed. the complete line-up of chevrolets will be all electric by 2025 or 2035. but there was another line that said something to the effect of. If it wasn't so pathetic, me fookin ribs would be sore from laughing so hard.ĭuring the ball game tonight, I saw a chevrolet truck commercial where a woman parked a front and rear steer "all electric" truck. My bad for thinking that the Y-hammer would build a 600 pound, 4.2L, quattro-valvola, powerhouse that puts out 200 HP a woketard, EPA approved. It is designed for bass, flats, and multi-species boats. It's kind of like the K+N filter commercial. The V6 V Max Sho Series 4.2L Yamaha outboard has a range of horsepower: 250HP, 225HP or 200HP. you'll need the hard parts to go along with your new timing and limiter settings. As X-treme mentioned, there's some gain from a more aggressive timing curve. will deal with the timing and point where the soft limiter starts coming into play. And maybe a less efficient intake arrangement. Other than that, lower HP models of the same base motor, will have a lower / smaller exhaust port / inner can relief arrangement. If your up on the bank, knocked out laying on the throttle, it will also pull timing until it starts dropping spark in an effort to control RPM. you can pinch it back and it will make more power by a couple % until it saw's itself in half. If it's richer than 12.5 to 13 / 1 range WOT. I'd like to see the 120 HP / ECU tune-up.
